  • If a class has a waitlist? If the instructor cannot add additional students to the class, the instructor can either run a second session that semester, or wait till the next session.

  1. Academic courses for high school completion credit must meet for 45 hours (usually 3 hours per/week for 15 weeks).

  2. New instructors will be invited to an orientation in August or January prior to the start of classes.

  3. Classes are advertised in our brochure, which is delivered to every household within the M.S.A.D. #60 district and online at

  6. No certification or degree is necessary to instruct most enrichment classes. State of Maine certification is required for academic instructors in the high school credential programs. Fitness instructors must have and maintain all certifications.

  7. Materials or textbook fees are separate from the course price. Please include all book information in the course description.

  8. The Director determines the price for the course which is affected by the length of the course, materials, the market, and registrations.
