(Some courses start according to instructor availability.)

  1. Academic courses for high school completion credit must meet for 45 hours (usually 3 hours per/week for 15 weeks).

  2. New instructors will be invited to an orientation in August or January prior to the start of classes.

  3. Classes are advertised in our brochure, which is delivered to every household within the M.S.A.D. #60 district and online at
    www.nobleadulted.org.

  4. Occasionally photos, quotes, and flash marketing are done on Facebook and Twitter. We request a current teacher bio and photo(s) of the finished product.

  5. We require a minimum number of registrations to run a course in order to cover instructor and material costs. Instructors and students are notified at least 48 hours before the start date of the class if it is cancelled.

  6. No certification or degree is necessary to instruct most enrichment classes. State of Maine certification is required for academic instructors in the high school credential programs. Fitness instructors must have and maintain all certifications.

  7. Materials or textbook fees are separate from the course price. Please include all book information in the course description.

  8. The Director determines the price for the course which is affected by the length of the course, materials, the market, and registrations.
