The Towns of Berwick, South Berwick, Kittery, Eliot, and York have teamed up to provide these workshops to inform residents about sustainable lawn care practices in order to help protect our waters from the negative effects caused by misuse of fertilizers and pesticides. Whether you love your lawn or not, whether you already practice environmentally friendly lawn care or not, you can always learn more! Come learn the SEVEN EASY STEPS to a healthy lawn and protect our waters, children and pets.
Kristie Rabasca is a professional engineer, gardener, and stormwater geek. She has worked on projects protecting water resources in Maine and New Hampshire for over 25 years. She assists the Towns of Berwick, South Berwick, Kittery, Eliot and York in managing their stormwater programs.
Spring Energizer Workshop!
This class will by taught by certified yoga instructors Emily Gaddis and Nancy Cotty.
Let’s celebrate the height of spring by engaging in a gentle flow yoga class with movement and a relaxing, restorative ending. You will move your body and release some stored energy for the majority of the class and then enjoy a mellow, restorative ending that will leave you refreshed.
*This yoga workhop will take place at the Mill Field by the gazebo in North Berwick.
Join dowser Glen Johnson and learn the age-old art of dowsing along with its uses today. You will be introduced to various dowsing instruments and how they work for you. Bring your own rods/pendulums to use during class time. If the weather is favorable, a trip outdoors is likely, so dress accordingly. No experience necessary - just an open mind.
